The new story arc for both games and endgame challenge missions, Predator Styles in GER to maintain your Burst better and the best QoL changes, Blood Rage in 2RB for a huge 30 second damage output, the Variant Scythe weapon, and multi-phase survival missions, skill installing, and the Personal Ability system for your NPC allies in both games. To be fair, I feel that the game does a fantastic job of easing you into this aspect of the game. I am sure that some people will see all of the weapon and character customization that GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst offers and find it a bit on the overwhelming side. I really liked the story and while it is a direct sequel, I do feel it does a good enough job of filling new players in on past events. The game has a kind of “Monster Hunter” vibe about it, but with a more anime twist.
